This book is primarily intended for Mechanical Engineering Students but can also be used by students majoring in other fields of engineering. The book does not aim to replace any standard textbook in Thermodynamics, instead it serves to aid the students learn Thermodynamics the easy and effective way.
Chapter 1 deals with the characteristics and properties of a two-phase consisting of vapor and liquid, and discusses the use of steam tables and Mollier’s chart as an aid in analyzing Thermodynamics processes. Chapter 2 shows the various processes of vapor. Chapter 3 presents the fundamental ideas of power generation from two-phase system and the different vapor cycles with emphasis on steam power.
